1983
Building a Business
in the Summer of '83
In 1983, amidst a challenging economic climate, builder Jeff Pitrone saw an opportunity in the insulation business thanks to government tax credits for energy conservation projects. He made his first insulation sale in August and understood right away that his customers were willing to pay money for better products and a great service. By the end of 1985, Jeff incorporated USA Insulation.

Founded
& Expanded Operations
In 1985, after USA Insulation was officially incorporated, the company expanded its Cleveland-based operation to Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati. Insulating buildings such as Jacobs Fields, Gund Arena, and University Hospitals of Cleveland, to name a few, USA Insulation directed its focus and proprietary USA Premium Foam insulation towards the insulation of residential homes.

Begins Franchising
In 2006, armed with the knowledge that homeowners were willing to pay for high-quality premium insulation to improve their home's comfort level and save money on utilities, USA Insulation began to franchise its model to reach a larger, national customer base. USA Insulation is the first, largest, and fastest-growing insulation franchise in the United States. With over 150,000 success stories to date, they're well on their way to providing comfort and savings to homeowners across the U.S.

Exclusive Rights
to Premium Injection Foam
USA Insulation made a major move to corner the market by purchasing the exclusive rights to Premium Injection Foam and taking out the competition. This strategic decision allowed the company to reduce costs for franchise owners, enabling them to make more money. Additionally, USA Insulation sped up the distribution of its proprietary product to franchise owners, giving them a competitive edge in the market. This bold move showcased the country's commitment to dominating the market and maximizing profits for its franchise owners.
